evolve Beach Club, Las Vegas’ newest Topless Couples only Pool Party

Sexy Couples-Only European-Style Pool Parties Kick-Off on Saturday, April 28

On Saturday, April 28thNaked Pool at Artisan Hotel Boutique will launch Las Vegas’ most evolved pool party yet: evolve Beach Club.  The sexy new couples only European-style pool party will allow guests to let go and lose their inhibitions (and articles of clothing…) around Artisan’s discreet, upscale pool featuring oversized day beds, creative concoctions, and of course, a sexy crowd.

evolve started out as an invite-only, Las Vegas nightclub event for couples produced by In-Cahoots Events and 702Connections, with its first production in April 2011.  Due to the overwhelming success of the evolve nightclub events, and in celebration of its one year anniversary, the time was right for evolve to evolve!  Now making its home at the Naked Pool, guests can party in a private cabana or show-off on daybeds big enough for a festive gathering all while being surrounded by sexy bikini clad hostesses. The evolve Beach Club at the Artisan will turn the Naked Pool deck into a bustling party scene with dazzling sun worshippers and the hottest deejays spinning the best electric dance music.

ARTISAN is Las Vegas’ exceptional non-gaming hotel boutique and ultra-lounge.  There is not another hotel like it in Las Vegas (or any other city in the world).  The 64-room, two-suite lushly landscaped hideaway, literally covered from floor to ceiling with eclectic art and paintings, elicits surprise and awe from even the most discerning travelers.  Stepping into the art-filled lobby, guests are instantly transported to another world.

Weekly promotions include special appearances by guest hosts, an incredibly seductive “Bikini Bottoms” bikini contest and other adult themed events.  evolve Beach Club is scheduled every Saturday throughout the summer. Doors open at 11:00 a.m. and the party won’t stop until 6:00 p.m.  Cabanas are limited, so reservations should be booked in advance. Admission will be charged per pair, with local couples receiving discounted entry. For daybed and cabana reservations,

Is Las Vegas – The Next Ibiza?

Can you say monopoly?

It’s been an all out battle of the open check books within the Las Vegas Nightlife community.  Almost five summers ago, Rain Nightclub took the leap of faith…..thank god, and signed one of the top DJ’s of the time, Paul Oakenfold to a year long residency at Rain Nightclub. It was just what Vegas needed, with a two year reign , get it Rain / Reign  other clubs through their Hat into the ring.  Marquee came out swinging with the first true all EDM nightclub with such ringers as Kaskade and Eric Morillo ( ho hum) and took top spot for EDM nightclub and soon the Rain dried up.  XS, Surrender, Encore Beach club and yeah Tyrst is there somewhere all on Steve Wynn property wasn’t going to sit around idle, teamed up with the Guru Steve Wynn himself,  and I’m thinking the gobs of money and G5 handed over to Country superstar Garth Brooks wasn’t drawing the big money gamblers Mr Wynn expected… I don’t know… for a man who’s top hit single is “Friends in low places” perhaps that could of been a hint right there that Garths fans would rather drink $.75 coronas at “Slots-o-fun ” down the street then pony up for a $250 dinner at Wazazu haha ok whatever… sio Steve Wynn has inevitably won the “who’s got the biggest dick” contest by signing 34 of the worlds TOP EDM DJ’s last week as resident DJ’s to one or all of the venues on Wynn Property. Holy Shitbags Batman… So, yes tables, daybeds and Cabanas are going to be the top source of paying for these DJ’s so plan to take out a second mortgage.   We all know that EDM has taken over the dance music scene,  does signing 34 of the top DJ’s so other venues can’t sign them negatively effect the scene?  Who’s knows….. let’s just hope this EDM wave lasts for more than a minute…i don’t think I can handle hearing “soldia boy” in a club environment again… my Sanity relies on it.

Here’s the list of Wynn’s 34 resident DJ’s for 2012.

Motley Crue set to confirm residency at the Hard Rock Hotel?

Well it’s true, Shout at the Devil, Dr. Feelgood, Girls Girls girls and Momma I’m coming home Home Sweet Home will now be heard nightly in Las Vegas! Motley Crue has just signed 4-6 shows a week for 6 months in the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel.
So will Vince, Mick, Nikki and Tommy be following in the footsteps of Cher, Celine and The Rocket man?

I doubt it…. but this will probably be a much better option and show to attend than New Years Eve 2012 at the joint featuring Axl’s Gun’s n Roses…

World renowned for its surreal beauty and ambiance, The Beach Club at Tropicana Las Vegas will be designed in simplistic elegance with furniture made of natural woods from Vietnam, throw pillows made of organic fabrics, free flowing white linen curtains, plush champagne beds and Nikki Beach’s signature tepee cabanas.

Nikki Beach at Tropicana will include a restaurant, outdoor cafe and bar, swim up blackjack, sand volleyball courts and a private island in the center of the tropical pool. The beach club will also include an outdoor concert space where Tropicana will provide world-class entertainment, including some of the hottest musicians from around the globe. It’s slated to be the hottest new spot on The Las Vegas Strip, and you’ll only find it here at Tropicana Las Vegas.

Nikki Beach will bring the best of their South Beach, Marbella and St. Tropez inspired designs to Tropicana Las Vegas, enabling guests to party all day and all night in style, with a sizzling blend of haute cuisine, exotic cocktails and sexy entertainment. The new Las Vegas location will be the largest Nikki Beach property in the world, and will combine one of the most stylish brands in the world with one of the most legendary hotels on The Strip.

“The creation of Nikki Beach Las Vegas marks a new era in Tropicana Las Vegas’ history,” said Alex Yemenidjian, Chairman and CEO of Tropicana Las Vegas, Inc. “Together we will deliver a truly exceptional experience, joining two of the world’s most iconic brands in a way that has not been done before in this city.”

“After many years of looking into Las Vegas for expansion, we have finally found the right partnership”, said Nikki Beach owner Jack Penrod. “The Tropicana Las Vegas is the perfect location for our global brand. With exclusive beach clubs in the world’s hottest vacation spots, we are thrilled to bring Nikki Beach to Tropicana Las Vegas. Alex’s vision for the new Tropicana Las Vegas makes the perfect home for Nikki Beach, who as quoted by the London Observer, is ‘The Sexiest Place on Earth.’ But please, tell only your best friends.”

Nikki Beach at Tropicana Las Vegas will include two key elements: Nikki Beach Club and Club Nikki.

Nikki Beach Club
Set on over four acres of Tropicana Las Vegas’ lush natural pool landscape, Nikki Beach will bring the ultimate global beach club experience to Las Vegas. The organic design is enhanced by the mature vegetation that only comes with the gift of time. Nikki Beach Club at Tropicana Las Vegas will capitalize on the romance that exists at this legendary property. Our mission is to create unforgettable memories that will stay with our guests long after they leave our resort. The new partnership will capture the best of what’s new while maintaining a legacy. The beach club will feature sleek loungers so that guests can sun themselves in the heart of the action, while luxurious opium beds and cabanas will provide select guests a more secluded experience, complete with premium bottle service and hors d’oeuvres. Nikki Beach will include a restaurant, outdoor cafe and bar, swim-up blackjack, and a private island in the center of the tropical pool.

Club Nikki
Tropicana Las Vegas brings a touch of world finesse to the Las Vegas scene with Club Nikki in true Nikki Beach style. The brand-new 15,000 square foot Club Nikki will provide club-goers with a never-seen-before nightlife experience. Our VIP clientele will not only recognize the undeniable Nikki signature touches such as the elegant all-white color scheme and the European style best-in-class service but they will also discover an organically-designed decor offering different elegant settings according to the mood of the night. Club Nikki will feature a glamorous ultra-lounge where guests can sip signature cocktails and mingle before moving on to the thumping beats of the dance floor. The innovative club will also showcase unique interactive entertainment such as alluring champagne muses and world-renowned DJs dueling on each side of the sexiest dance floor on The Strip.

Directly from the dance area, wide doors will lure guests to the iconic outdoor Nikki Beach setting that our international clientele will remember from their last visit to Marbella or St-Tropez. With its lavish fountain and the luxurious dreamy white beds, Nikki Beach will offer its guests an imaginary trip to its original exotic locations just before rejoining the party.

Welcome Cosmopolitan……Wait, The owners name is “Unwin”????

Besides all the offbeat and unusual marketing ideas the resort has come up with and which we are loving, perhaps the real sentiment stems from the fact that this is probably the last of the mega-growth resorts that will be opening in Las Vegas for some time to come….probably a decade or more, says the experts.. But wait… What about the fontainebleau project???   80% complete and the tallest hotel on the strip yet it sits idle as another failed project. CityCenter just squeaked by in it’s opening, complete with selling out 50% of the project to an state-owned Arab company and leaving the chopped-down Harmon Hotel as nothing more than an empty shell. But hey, they opened, at least (although they are figuring out that the unfriendly design kinda resembles an airport terminal). The Cosmopolitan was even closer to a death knell with their bankruptcy and all but they actually opened which allows a lot of us Vegas locals to give a big ol’ sigh of relief. We’ve had enough to be embarrassed about lately–we didn’t need the Cosmo to fall flat on its face. Of course, there won’t be any new major construction for a long time (unless it’s a freakin’ stadium–hint, hint!) but if we can grow into our growth over the next decade then we’ll be doing pretty well. Anyway, for right now, at least, it’s all happy, happy as we’ve got a new resort opening and we can be proud for at least a month or so (until the preliminary financial reports start filtering back). So here’s and article on the “designed-to-be-fun” Cosmopolitan Hotel and here’s a video tour of the place hosted by the Cosmopolitan CEO John Unwin…. UNWIN????  I’m sorry…….  Dude, with all that money,  might you of thought perhaps you might want to legally change your last name or at least modify it?  Gamblers are oh, I don’t know…. superstitious?   Hmmmm then again, you can’t really modify it to just WIN,  yeah someone beat ya to it…… anyways, happy days are here again! At least for a minute or two…

Fantasy or Reality…..looks like Reality….

The huge Las Vegas event known as the Fetish & Fantasy Ball (a.k.a. The Halloween Ball) has moved yet again. We thought it had finally found a semi-permanent home at the Joint in the Hard Rock but, after a couple of years, thankfully we were wrong.  After the last two years of us trying to stay positive about the event being moved to this location we have been less then thrilled at the outcome.  Taking what was an “underground” party and commercializing it by throwing it in the Hard Rock to the Fantasy and Fetish out of this Ball.   It just became the worlds largest Halloween Costume party,  seriously,   dozens of “Borrats” in lime green slingshot suits?  kitty cats to oompa loompas to omg seriously the Chillian Miners?   Where’s the Fetish? So the move is welcome with open arms by us!

So, now it’s on to the South Point Hotel & Casino (about 10 miles south of the Strip on Las Vegas Boulevard and, incidentally, totally debt free!) and their Arena & Equestrian Center which is large enough to hold rodeo events, basketball games and motocross championships.

The F&F Ball has always had a difficult time remaining in one place. Sometimes the event is too sexy for the venue (more on the sexiness factor, below), sometimes the sheer size of the event simply overwhelms the facilities and more-than-sometimes a friction develops between Jeff, the promoter/organizer, and the people that run the venue.

It looks like the Hard Rock fell into the latter category if, like us, you glean the meaning of this line from the latest F & F press release: “With (holding the event at the South Point and) it’s mid-size arena and multitude of convention space, we are able to get back to what we do best, great Halloween Parties, with all the benefits of being at at top quality venue, but with less of the pretentious interference we’ve been experiencing the last few years“.

We’re not sure it’ll be any better at South Point as, while they are most likely less pretentious, we’re not sure they can handle the sexy costumes and the edgy BDSM entertainment offerings the F & F Ball offers.  We shall see.
